Three EREA students were amongst a cohort of 160 students from across Sydney secondary schools to receive a University of Sydney Academic Excellence Award in April. The Award Presentation was held in the University of Sydney’s Great Hall with Associate Professor Peter McCallum presenting the medallions and certificates to the high achieving students.
Each year NSW schools can nominate a deserving candidate from their most recent Year 10 cohort. The Awards are part of a scheme initiated by the University to acknowledge and encourage academic diligence in high school and a way to inspire students to consider Sydney University for under-graduate study.
The three EREA students recognised for their outstanding Academic achievements in Year 10 (2018) included Hugh Mc Sweeny from Waverley College, Jeremey Short from St Patrick’s College Strathfield and Duncan Dingley from St Pius X College Chatswood.
Congratulations to these three EREA students for their outstanding achievement.
