ABOUT THE NETWORKS:
The Edmund Rice Education Australia Flexible Schools Network (EREAFSN) is a national initiative of Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA) and is recognised as a leading organisation for the provision of education and social inclusion programs for disenfranchised young people.
Flexible Learning Centres (FLC) within EREA are organised into six networks, each with three or four schools and led by a Network Principal. The Eastern Flexi Schools Network is comprised of schools in NSW, including Wollongong, St Mary’s, Newcastle and Pambula Beach. The Nano Nagle Flexi Schools Network is comprised of schools in Victoria and Tasmania, including St Francis’ in Hobart and St Joseph’s in North Melbourne and Geelong.
EREAFSN schools offer an inclusive and non-discriminating learning community to young people, who for a variety of reasons, are disenfranchised from mainstream education.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Executive Director of EREA is seeking to appoint an accomplished professional in the role of Business Manager. The Business Manager will work closely with the Principals of both Networks and will oversee the commercial operations of all seven schools across Victoria, Tasmania and NSW which form the Eastern and Nano Nagle Networks. This is a varied leadership role which covers finance, property, IT and staff management in an enriching and supportive environment.
The role will be based at the Nano Nagle Network Office, currently located in Carlton, VIC. Travel is an essential element of the role and it is expected that 25-40% of time will be spent traveling between the schools across Victoria, NSW and Tasmania.

ABOUT YOU:
The successful candidate will have:
*Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business or Commerce related field;
*Knowledge of, and experience in, day-to-day accounting procedures, financial management and strategic development in the not-for-profit setting;
*Strong leadership skills
*Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills in order to relate to a variety of audiences;
*The ability to be able to demonstrate an understanding of the charism of Blessed Edmund Rice as articulated in the Charter for Catholic Schools in the Edmund Rice Tradition.
