ABOUT THE ROLE: 

We are seeking a bright, commercial leader to build upon St Brendan’s success.  As Business Manager, you will have a varied and interesting role including:

*Leading all financial aspects of the College, managing budgets, presenting financial reports to leadership and the Advisory Council;

*Responsibility for the campus and its day-to-day operation, as well as sites for extra-curricular activities, through leadership of the ICT, Property Services and Administration teams;

*With the Principal, providing strategic leadership for longer term, capital planning and development of facilities.

In this role you will work closely with the Principal and be a key member of a dynamic Leadership Team to help the school navigate its bright future.  You will report directly to the Principal and be supported by a small team of staff in an enriching and supportive environment.

 

ABOUT YOU: 

Applications are encouraged from commercial professionals as well as experienced Business Managers.

To succeed in the role you will have:

*Experience in responsibility for the financial management of a medium-sized business

*Strong leadership experience across multi disciplines

*Demonstrated understanding of the charism of Blessed Edmund Rice

*Ability to be a strategic thinker, while balancing the hands-on day to day requests

*Capacity to be a strong communicator of financial results and budgets

*Exemplary collaborative practices

*Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Commerce with CA /CPA preferred
