An exciting opportunity exists for an accomplished professional to join Trinity College as the Business Manager.

The Business Manager is a key member of the College Leadership Team and provides professional support to the Principal in their leadership by contributing to the effective operation of the College across the areas of Financial, Business, Property and IT Management and future Capital Planning.

This opportunity arises as the current Business Manager has recently been appointed to a newly developed National role at the Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA) National Office. There will be an opportunity for appropriate handover between the incumbent and the incoming Business Manager.

This position is committed to providing key linkages between educational vision and the business functions of the College and will ensure that Trinity is achieving its financial and operational requirements for a leading school in the 21st century. The Business Manager will create new and improve existing business to maximise the facilities and assets of the College.

You will report directly to the Principal and be supported by a small team of staff in an enriching and supportive environment.

To succeed in the role you will have:

*Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/ Business/ Commerce or related field (CA or CPA preferred)

*Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders in an energetic and vibrant environment

*Demonstrated experience leading successful teams

*Experience in responsibility for the financial management of a medium-sized business

*The ability to think strategically in contributing to the future development of the College

*A proven ability to work in a collaborative environment as a member of a Leadership team and to manage a cohesive support team

*Knowledge of, and experience in, day-to-day accounting procedures, financial management and strategic development in the not-for-profit setting

*Experience with tender development and capital works as the College embarks on future capital planning

*A commitment to ongoing professional development

*The ability to be able to demonstrate an understanding of the charism of Blessed Edmund Rice as articulated in the Charter for Catholic Schools in the Edmund Rice Tradition.
