About EREA:

Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA) is a National Not-for-Profit Organisation, responsible for the governance and administration of 55 Catholic schools in the Edmund Rice tradition across Australia.

The successful candidate will be part of a supportive team at the EREA National Office and undertake rewarding work which positively impacts the education of over 39,000 young people across Australia. The EREA National Office is located in Central Richmond, only a 5-minute walk from East Richmond Station, 10-minute walk from Richmond Station and just minutes from trams on Church Street, Swan Street and Bridge Road.

 About the Role:

EREA is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic executive Assistant to provide high level administrative support to the School Engagement team. The successful candidate will be a valued member of the School Engagement team and work closely with the National Director School Engagement (Melbourne-based) and Director of Schools – Victoria and Tasmania (Melbourne-based).

The National Director School Engagement and Regional Directors work closely with school Principals, Deputy Principals and Heads of Campus and school communities to provide strategic oversight of the leadership and administration of EREA schools.

To succeed in the role you will have:

*Relevant experience in administration, management and/or Catholic education

*A strong work ethic

*A courteous, engaging and efficient manner

*A high level of skills in organisation and administration

*The ability to work collaboratively in a team

*Effective verbal and written communication skills

*Effective time management, achieving deadlines and follow up of actions

*Sound understanding of board and management reporting

*Competency in using Microsoft software (and in learning to use new software)

*Confidence to seek out information/ raw data on topics as requested

*Competency in arranging meetings/events

*Consistency and a strong attention to detail.
