EREA is committed to developing positive and mutually beneficial relationships with communities in Indigenous Australia and the Majority World through immersion and partnership programs. The Catholic call to global solidarity and the quest for justice and peace for all is at the heart of these experiences. Immersions and partnerships provide excellent opportunities for school communities to develop relationships of solidarity across borders; learn about global justice issues; inspire and nurture individual and communal faith journeys; join together with others as part of a common humanity; and act together for justice and peace in our world.

During this program, participants will undertake an immersion to India and connect with the work and vision of the Church, the Brothers, local schools and community organisations. This experience will give participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in one of the world’s largest countries, where different faiths, cultures and peoples come together. India provides exceptional learning experiences for educators who are open to expanding their understanding about a preferential option for the poor and the Church’s commitment to justice and peace.
