A report on participation in Term 1 and what's available throughout 2018.
Eighty participants were engaged in Term 1 Core Formation Programs. A report on these programs is attached for those interested in the progress and development of our nationally coordinated efforts.
Term 3 and 4 offer the opportunity for participation in programs designed for staff with leadership responsibilities (A Call to Leadership – Into the Deep) and experienced staff who have been in an EREA school for at least five years (A Call to Transformation – Mt Sinai). If you haven’t yet nominated suitable people for these programs and would like to do so please make initial contact via email@example.com so we can check program vacancy rates.
If you would like more copies of the posters promoting the Core Formation Programs that were delivered to your school in Term 1, please contact Bessie at EREA. Please continue to display these in areas where staff gather and spend significant time.
As was communicated in September last year, the cost of each Core Formation Program has been set for 2018 at a National standard rate, starting at $210 for the “A Call to Mission – Galilee” program. Invoices for Term 1 program participation have been generated and circulated. Please contact me by email if you would like more detail re the individual program costs or if you feel there is a discrepancy in participant attendance displayed on Invoices. Any fees charged for cancellation or late notification of participant withdrawal are consistent with the guidelines published in 2016 and updated and attached here.
The Team thanks you for your ongoing efforts to support staff participation both before and following attendance at the EREA National programs. We rely on your wisdom in nominating personnel and scaffolding their engagement throughout the process. We will always inform nominated participants who contact us that communication about possible changes must come from the relevant school authority. In directing such enquiries back to you we hope we are supporting you in your role as well.
We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples of Australia as the traditional owners and custodians of the land of our schools. We are inspired and nurtured by their wisdom, spirituality and experience. We commit ourselves to actively
work alongside them for reconciliation and justice. We pay our respects to the Elders; past, present and future. As we take our next step we remember the first footsteps taken on this sacred land.
