The Noosa Flexible Learning Centre has responded to the COVID-19 pandemic by doing what they do best – reaching out to support the local community. Members of the FLC community have joined with other organisations and collaborated to produce face masks for local frontline medical practitioners. Using the school’s 3-D printer, Digital Hub, one of their partners, have produced and delivered 60 face-shields. This partnership will continue throughout the pandemic.

Noosa Flexible Learning Centre is part of the Marlene Moore Network of schools and provides a place and an opportunity for almost 100 young people to re-engage with learning and community. Flexible learning centres operate on a common ground basis where young people are empowered to determine their own pathways.
