EREA Students Take Action for Climate Justice
Hope-filled and passionate young people from EREA schools have joined more than 350,000 Australians taking action for Climate Justice over the past week.

Calling for a Climate Emergency to be declared by all levels of government, students participated, as individuals and as representatives of their school communities, in their local School Strike for Climate, they created banners, signs and posters to display at the strikes and around their schools, they collected signatures on petitions to their local members, they participated in “Die-ins”, they heard from climate activists and they cleaned up the rubbish on their local streets.

These young people are living up to God’s call to work for justice and solidarity for all creation and they are doing it with creativity and determination.
