ABOUT THE ROLE:
An exciting and unique opportunity exists to lead St Joseph’s Catholic Flexible Learning Centre in Alice Springs, commencing in January 2023. As Principal, you will have delegated responsibility from the Oscar Romero Network Principal for the management and leadership of the Centre and any outreach services related to the Centre.
You will lead a team of professional and dedicated teaching staff, youth workers and support staff who are committed to providing educational pathways for young people who have been disenfranchised from mainstream education.

ABOUT ST JOSEPH’S CATHOLIC FLEXIBLE LEARNING CENTRE:
St Joseph’s Catholic Flexible Learning Centre (FLC) is a part of the Edmund Rice Education Australia Flexible Schools Network (EREAFSN), a national initiative of Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA) that is recognised as being a leading organisation for the provision of education and social inclusion programs for disenfranchised young people.
St Joseph’s Catholic FLC is part of the Oscar Romero Flexible Schools Network under the leadership of a Network Principal. The Oscar Romero Flexible Schools Network is comprised of FAME in Christie Downs, south of Adelaide; Edmund Rice Flexi School, north of Adelaide; the Geraldton Flexible Learning Centre with a second campus in Carnarvon, and St Joseph’s Catholic Flexible Learning Centre, Alice Springs.
St Joseph’s provides a place and an opportunity to re-engage with learning and community for approximately 90 young people. Flexible learning centres are Special Assistance Schools that create a ‘common ground’ based on our four principles where young people are empowered to determine their own pathways.
