St Virgil’s College supports the Mary Rice Centre
St Virgil’s College, Hobart, celebrated last week their special relationship with the Mary Rice Centre in Kenya. They enjoyed an entertaining soccer match, a moving Mass celebrated superbly by Fr Suresh, tyre and water bucket races and our Tjunge Mary Rice Centre Walkathon – all under blue winter skies!
It was a great opportunity to stand and walk with their brothers and sisters in Kibera. Asante Sana to Bridget Jenkins for leading the day, parents and staff who cooked an amazing African luncheon and the boys for raising funds for the specially abled children of the MRC!
