EREA’s Innovate RAP
Reconciliation Australia is the national lead body on reconciliation in Australia. The organisation’s vision is for a just, equitable and reconciled Australia, with a purpose to inspire and enable all Australians to contribute to the reconciliation of our nation across all five critical dimensions: historical acceptance; race relations; equality and equity; institutional integrity; and unity.
Reconciliation Australia’s Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) program provides a framework for organisations to realise their visions for reconciliation and support the national reconciliation movement. RAPs are practical plans of action built on three key pillars of relationships, respect and opportunities, supporting organisations to contribute to reconciliation both internally and in the communities that they operate. No matter where an organisation is on its reconciliation journey, there is a RAP to suit.

Schools and Early Learning services can develop RAPs through Reconciliation Australia’s Narragunnawali: Reconciliation in Schools and Early Learning program. The Narragunnawali online platform is free to access and has a range of features – including an extensive suite of professional learning and curriculum resources – to support the development, implementation and management of RAPs.
