National Formation Programs
EREA offers a number of formation programs for all staff, ranging from beginning staff to senior leaders, that provide opportunities for professional and personal reflection and growth.
“With a Listening Heart: A Design for Formation within the Edmund Rice Tradition” guides the planning, design and evaluation of staff formation experiences grounded in the Touchstones as the contemporary Australian expression of Catholic schools in the Edmund Rice tradition.
An induction program for people new to EREA schools and Edmund Rice communities
A program for people with at least five years’ experience in EREA schools or Edmund Rice communities
A program which responds to the Reconciliation paradigm shift called for in the EREA Strategic Directions 2020-2024.
Immersions and Partnership Programs
EREA organises and supports a number of Immersion and Partnership programs for leaders and staff that promote a faith-based response to global solidarity and a commitment to reconciliation. These include programs with Indigenous communities in Australia, and international programs in India, Africa, South America and Ireland. (Due to COVID-19 these programs have been placed on hold for the foreseeable future. Opportunities for virtual connections are available.)
This program appeals to school leaders who are interested in furthering Reconciliation in Australia.
This immersion to India will connect with the work and vision of the Church, the Brothers, local schools and community organisations.
This immersion will explore leadership through visiting and connecting with amazing faith-based schools and programs in Kenya and South Africa.
Provides participants with the chance to immerse themselves in the work of the Church and the Christian Brothers in Peru, Argentina and Uruguay.
