Child Safety

Child Safety

The EREA Trustees and Boards of each EREA governing body hold the safety and wellbeing of all children, young people and enrolled adults as the organisation’s highest priority.

EREA has no tolerance for child abuse, and all allegations and safety concerns are responded to as a priority and consistent with our robust Safeguarding policies and procedures, and in compliance with the relevant jurisdictional obligations, the National Catholic Safeguarding Standards, and the public Apology to the victims/survivors of abuse. Furthermore, EREA’s policies and procedures have been developed with consideration of the findings Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. EREA is wholly committed to the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations.
